Greetings in Jesus name! The South Bay Youth Alliance, along with Kingdom Causes and the New Life Clubs would like to invite you to actively participate in our FREE upcoming fall event: All day, Everyday! taking place Friday May 30th at King’s Harbor Church in Torrance.
South Bay Youth Alliance is a growing fellowship and network of Youth Pastors and Youth Leaders from throughout the cities of the South Bay who have been coming together to develop relationships, to pray for one another and our students, and plan regular events that will help us engage the youth of our communities in pursuing Christ and His purposes to reach the 'unchurched' youth in our communities.
Kingdom Causes is a regional ministry that “helps mobilize God’s people for God’s purposes.” They desire to see unity within the Body of Christ [the Church] at the city level, so together we may more effectively reach our cities for Jesus!
New Life Clubs has been serving the Churches and students of the South Bay for over 30 years. This is a student run, Church supported ministry that has clubs on over 20 campuses in our communities and the South Los Angeles area!
If you have been keeping up with the culture and this millennial generation, you already know that the statistics are bleak and the future does not look promising. We believe that we must do something to change the current forecast and that we can have much more of a significant impact together (John 17:20-23)!
All day, Everyday! will include a time during the afternoon for training with our students in several different areas (including, but not limited to worship, prayer, evangelism, leadership, apologetics and more!) Sessions will be taught by several Youth Pastors and Youth leaders in the South Bay, culminating in an evening ‘main event’ with dynamic worship, intense dramas, prayer for all of the South Bay campuses and powerful messages from local youth pastors and student leaders.
The campuses are where our students spend much of their time during the week, so our desire is to focus on the Schools. Students are either going to be influencers (“salt and light”) or they will be influenced. You’ve heard the saying, “If you don’t stand for something, you are likely to fall for anything.” We believe it’s time that our students made a stand!
Some of the goals of this event, as it specifically relates to our students on campus are:
· Grow and strengthen the existing Christian clubs on campus, so they may be a powerful witness to the rest of the student body.
· Birth New Life Clubs on campuses where they currently don’t exist. (including Middle school campuses!)
· Help South Bay churches get a vision for the campuses as well and encourage Churches to begin “adopting” and “partnering” with the campuses that are close to their church and where their students attend.
· Train our students in areas that will help them to be more effective in reaching the lost and hurting students on their campuses!
If you have any questions, comments, concerns or ideas, please do not hesitate to contact us.
